Lori McCutchen
Lori McCutchen is a principal member of TKM Law, LLC, who focuses her practice in the areas of domestic law, general litigation and commercial transactions.
Domestic and Family Law. Ms. McCutchen has represented clients in simple dissolutions, as well as high-conflict situations involving child custody battles, and enforcement of parental rights, and has successfully litigated modification and contempt proceedings to enforce support obligations.Ms. McCutchen's background in mediation, litigation and business law allows her to offer creative alternatives for clients seeking solutions to chronic matters involving custody, child support, alimony or spousal support, and other family law situations. In addition to her legal experience, she advises and prepares clients for the emotional issues that surround domestic and family law issues, and the changes and potential disruption that it represents to their family life. She is trained as a civil and family mediator, and is certified to represent children as a Guardian ad Litem.
Commercial and Business Law. Ms. McCutchen holds significant transactional experience in negotiating and drafting transnational joint ventures and strategic alliances, distribution and sales and e-commerce arrangements, and works frequently on issues relating to commission and other compensation structures for sales representatives, brokers and distributors.
She has provided solutions to complicated technical issues involving licensing of intellectual property rights, joint development of intellectual property, and structuring of royalty, milestone, and other compensation arrangements. Her background and expertise in complex commercial transactions has benefited animal health companies, corporations, research institutions, academia and entrepreneurs.
She is a 2001 graduate from University of Kansas School of Law, and is an alumni of Kansas State University.
Lori is admitted to practice before the Missouri Bar and has several articles and papers published in legal business journals and periodicals.
